You run the kitchen. We’ll run the numbers.

Card settlements matched nightly, Arabic and English supplier bills read from your inbox, payroll and WPS files ready for the 1st. Built for UAE F&B.

Margins are thin. Admin shouldn’t be thick.

The terminal settles one number, the delivery apps pay another, and the cash drawer tells a third story. With Rami: Noor matches card settlements, delivery-app payouts and cash deposits as they land in your bank, so daily sales tie out without a spreadsheet.

Supplier invoices arrive on paper, on WhatsApp and by email, and half of them are in Arabic. With Rami: Snap or forward them. Hana reads Arabic and English invoices, checks the TRN and VAT, and flags a bill that looks like a duplicate.

Payroll for twenty staff, each with different allowances, and WPS waiting on the 1st. With Rami: Dana runs payroll, accrues gratuity and leave, and prepares the WPS salary file. Releasing the transfer stays with you.

A month with Rami

What happens behind the pass while you look after the dining room.

Day 1, Amal: Set up for food & beverage. Amal sets up accounts that make sense for a kitchen: food, beverage, packaging and delivery commissions, plus opening balances.

Day 2, Noor: Daily sales reconciled. Card settlements and cash deposits are matched each morning, and short days are flagged before they become a mystery.

Day 5, Hana: Suppliers under control. Every invoice is captured with its VAT. Hana flags likely duplicates before you pay the same delivery twice.

Day 15, Omar: Food cost, mid-month. Ask Omar how food purchases compare with sales so far, while you can still change the order or the menu.

Day 28, Dana: Salaries ready for the 1st. Payslips, overtime and the WPS file are prepared and waiting for your approval.

Day 30, Rami: Month closed. Rami closes the books, and your VAT return builds itself from reconciled sales and purchases.

The rules that apply to F&B

Tax and payroll obligations for a UAE restaurant or café, as of October 2026.

VAT: Service charge included. Food and drink served in the UAE is standard-rated at 5%. If you add a service charge, it is part of the price and VAT applies to it as well.

E-invoicing: Diners out, catering in. Walk-in diners are outside e-invoicing for now. Catering contracts and corporate orders are in scope from 1 Jul 2027 for businesses with revenue under AED 50 million.

WPS: Salaries on the 1st, no grace period. Since 1 June 2026, each month’s wages are due through WPS on the 1st of the following month, and at least 85% of wages due must be paid to count as on time. Late payment can block new work permits.

Gratuity: End-of-service, accrued monthly. Staff under the UAE Labour Law with at least a year’s service earn 21 days’ basic wage per year for the first five years, and 30 days per year after that.
