Every payout, fully explained.
Shopify, noon and Amazon.ae payouts split into sales, fees and VAT, then matched to your bank. AI bookkeeping and VAT returns for UAE online sellers.
Sales are easy. Settlements aren’t.
The payout says AED 9,240. Your sales report says AED 10,500. Nobody can explain the gap. With Rami: Zayd splits each settlement into sales, output VAT, marketplace fees and the VAT on those fees, posted through a clearing account so it ties out exactly.
VAT on marketplace fees goes unclaimed because the fee invoices are buried in a seller portal. With Rami: Fees are booked with their 5% VAT as input tax, so Layla’s return can claim it when you hold the marketplace’s tax invoice.
Three channels, three payout schedules, one bank account. Reconciliation eats the weekend. With Rami: Noor matches each payout to its bank deposit, Stripe and Ziina included, so you can see what’s paid and what’s still in transit.
A month with Rami
From connecting your stores to knowing what each channel actually earned.
Day 1, Amal: Stores connected. Connect Shopify with your own app token, Amazon.ae through SP-API, and upload noon Seller Lab statement exports.
Day 3, Zayd: Orders become summaries. Instead of thousands of order lines in your ledger, Zayd drafts weekly VAT-ready summary invoices per channel.
Day 7, Noor: Payouts matched. Each marketplace and gateway payout is matched to its bank deposit. Anything short is flagged with the reason.
Day 14, Hana: Supplier and ad bills captured. Shipping, packaging and advertising invoices arrive by email. Hana extracts them with the VAT and the supplier’s TRN.
Day 28, Layla: VAT return drafted. Output VAT on sales, input VAT on fees and purchases, and zero-rated exports flagged for their evidence.
Day 30, Rami: Month closed, margins clear. Rami closes the month. Ask Omar what each channel earned after fees and refunds, straight from your ledger.
VAT rules for selling online
What applies to a UAE store selling through its own site and marketplaces.
VAT: On sales, and on the fees. Sales to UAE customers carry 5% VAT. Marketplace and payment fees carry 5% VAT too, which you can recover with a valid tax invoice.
VAT: The threshold counts exports too. Registration becomes mandatory once taxable supplies, including zero-rated exports, pass AED 375,000 over 12 months. Growing stores often cross it sooner than they expect.
Exports: Zero-rated, with evidence. Goods shipped outside the GCC can be zero-rated if they leave within 90 days of supply and you keep the customs and shipping evidence.
E-invoicing: Consumers out, businesses in. Sales to consumers are outside e-invoicing for now. Sales to businesses, such as resellers or corporate buyers, are in scope from 1 Jul 2027 if your revenue is under AED 50 million.
