You set the limits. Faris keeps watch.
Set each AI agent’s autonomy, amount ceiling and confidence threshold. Filings, payroll and payments always need you, and Faris audits the books nightly.
Controls & audit
Choose how much each agent may do on its own, set amount ceilings and confidence thresholds, and keep filings, payroll and payments locked to a human. Faris audits the books every night.
Autonomy you can dial, not a black box
Four autonomy levels: Observe, Suggest, Auto-review or Auto, per agent. Start on Suggest and raise it as trust builds.
Ceilings and materiality: Anything above the agent’s auto ceiling or your company materiality goes to a person, whatever the confidence.
Fails closed: Equity postings, tax control accounts, first-time counterparties and anything the model alone vouches for are routed to you.
A nightly audit: Faris checks the trial balance, receivable and payable sub-ledgers, bank vs statement, suspense and stale approvals, then flags anomalies.
Audit log and traces: Every change is logged with before and after values, and every proposal keeps its reasoning, evidence and confidence breakdown.
Reverse, never delete: Posted lines are immutable. Undoing a match or an entry posts a reversal, so the trail stays intact.
How a proposal gets decided
1. Validate: Unbalanced or invalid proposals are rejected outright.
2. Always-human list: Returns, payroll, payments, e-invoices, period locks and customer messages stop here for you.
3. Your limits: Autonomy level, materiality, the auto ceiling and risk flags are checked.
4. Confidence: A blended score from rules, history and evidence must clear your threshold.
